TELL US WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU DO
I’m Michelle, born and bred in Brighton I’ve had many careers and done loads of travelling, but over the last few years I‘ve established a beauty business that I’m truly passionate about. I focus on bridal beauty and brows. Bridal services include hair and makeup as well as various hen party packages. From my home salon I have built up a great client base for brow services, HD brows and threading. Now I have upped my brow game to offer the revolutionary method of microblading!

WE’RE REALLY INTERESTED IN THIS MICROBLADING… WHAT IS IT?!
Image-4
Epibrow, microblading or ‘eyebrow embroidery’ as it is also known, is the latest revolutionary, freehand, feather-styling technique. An Epibrow treatment gives a semi-permanent natural brow look and is unlike any other semi-permanent makeup technique, and unlike other techniques, is not reliant upon natural hair being present. This makes the Epibrow treatment perfect for those suffering from alopecia, trigonometric, or any other condition that causes hair loss (over-plucking for example) or even chemotherapy.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Epibrow gives the effect of ultra-fine, delicate hair strokes that blend within the natural brow. Using the natural landscape of the client’s brow – whether it’s too thin, too plucked, or patchy – this treatment allows you to restore or change the eyebrow shape. If the client’s brows are gone completely, an Epibrow treatment can re-create an entirely new brow for them.

Using a specially designed micro-blade, natural 3D hair strokes are placed under the epidermis for the ultimate tailored brow. The pigments used in the Epibrow treatment have been specially formulated to match the original eyebrow in order to achieve a natural look. This cutting edge treatment is ideal for enhancing and defining brows and will give the client the brows they’ve always dreamed of; a totally bespoke shape. We do not use stencils.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
12-18 months; but it is recommended to have a yearly top up to keep the look fresh. The pigments break down over time and do not leave a stain like tattoo ink would. Microblading is not a tattoo.

DOES IT HURT?!
A scratching sensation at the beginning can be felt whilst anaesthetic is administered, but this provides comfort throughout the rest of the procedure.

CAN YOU WORK WITH ALL SHAPED BROWS AND SKIN TONES?
Of course, the pigments I work with are ‘smart’ pigments, they blend to your skin’s natural undertones to complement the natural brow hairs that already exist. The colour range can also be mixed to match any skin undertones that exist.

FullSizeRender-3FINALLY, WHAT ARE YOUR TOP THREE TREATMENTS?!
Definitely the bridal hair and airbrush make-up services. Also my brides are encouraged to have a brow makeover with me in the run up to the big day. Finally, hen party pamper packages are right up there; brides-to-be and their hens receive top class treatments from my therapists, including a glass of bubbly, for a true relaxing day at their chosen location.
