A bit of ME time

We're loving Kemp Town's Merlin and Ellis

Award for The Best Use of Space this month (OK, we just made up that award but it’s well-deserved) goes to Merlin and Ellis in Brighton.

We’re loving this small but perfectly-formed artistic hub in Kemp Town. Packed full of goodies such new contemporary designer menswear but also stuff like pre-loved and designer pieces and one-off vintage items, it’s a friendly little space to stop, have a chat and even a coffee. They do lovely coffee!

As well as the clothing there’s also a big selection of cruelty free colognes and bathing products, which smell heavenly, and there’s a well-stocked LGBTQ bookcase too.

As if that wasn’t enough, there’s plenty of knickknacks such as homeware, art cards and actual real art on the walls. There’s also a range of different events happening all the time, from art exhibitions to spoken word events and pop-Up Supper clubs and print workshops. It’s an absolute treasure.
