A helping hand

The government’s Help to Buy housing scheme has assisted over 150,000 people become homeowners since its launch in 2013.

Research has also found that 82% of the scheme’s users would not have been able to buy a home without Help to Buy, which aims to give first-time buyers an initial step onto the property ladder.

Nearly half the properties purchased at Millwood Designer Homes’ Woodland View development in Hasting were made using the government scheme and Sales Director Philip Brown said, “The development has seen First Time Buyers getting on the property ladder as well as second steppers moving up it.

“Help to Buy is such a fantastic scheme and we are pleased to be able to help so many people purchase a brand new home that they are proud of.”
