The city’s premier business awards scheme is back for 2016 and now the shortlist for the 2016 Brighton and Hove Business Awards has been released. With 33 finalists competing for the 14 awards up for grabs, the shortlist is made up of a diverse selection of thriving companies that will all come together to celebrate the success of the city’s business community on Thursday 15 September. The shortlist features some of the newest and youngest companies in the city and, following a 35% increase in entries for 2016, the 33 finalists truly represent the best of the best of Brighton business. While seven of the finalists have made the shortlist twice, Ticketmedia is the only company to make it a hat-trick of entries as they feature in the award for Business Beyond the City and the Creative Industries Award, with MD Jeremy Burbidge up for the Managing Director of the Year Award as well.
