The Brighton Dome Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre will be the subject of major refurbishment after plans to revitalise the Royal Pavilion Estate were awarded nearly £5million by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The grant comes on top of £5.8m pledged by Arts Council England, along with money from the council, charitable trusts and individual patrons, as the project looks to turn the Royal Pavilion Estate into a world-class cultural destination for heritage, culture and the performing arts. Work is set to begin in autumn of 2016, with previously hidden heritage spaces set to be restored for public viewing.
