Fightin’ in Brighton a huge success

Skerritts’ Fight Night was a knockout thanks to the huge support of local businesses

The great and good of Brighton’s business world turned up in force and dug deep to support Action Medical Research at a special fight night at The Grand Hotel on August 13, which raised a whopping £81,000.

Organised by Skerritts Chartered Financial Planners, the night saw Richard Skerritt step into the ring against Title’s very own Matt ‘The Gentleman’ Ryan after weeks of training and preparation for both competitors to battle it out on the night, at Fightin’ in Brighton.

The 6ft 5ins Skerritt eventually won the contest in style before five other white-collar bouts began, with Brighton’s Mr Car Wash Robbie Raggio entertaining guests throughout and helping to raise the incredible figure.

A guest appearance from British middleweight champion and Brighton resident Chris Eubank Junior also helped the cause, as he donated a pair of boxing gloves to the auction.
