Although I haven’t fought yet this month, I’m thrilled that a bigger opportunity has presented itself that could potentially elevate my career to the next level. I’m waiting for the contract and tickets for the show to arrive, so it’s pretty much confirmed but I just can’t announce it just yet, frustratingly. It will mark the five-year anniversary of my debut and I plan to grab this chance with both hands. All I can say is that it will be for a bigger title than the WBC International Silver title, which I was due to fight for on Saturday 12 at the Brighton Metropole Hotel, and that it will be televised live on TV. Regardless of the result, it could be the defining moment that elevates my career after five hard years of work as a professional boxer.
