Station Garage in Horsham, the family run Skoda dealership, recently ran a successful Ladies Night car maintenance event and, following such positive feedback, and with students now back into the swing of things at college, the garage has decided to launch a new, free community event for young drivers on Thursday 6 October. Similar to the popular ladies only events, youngsters and new drivers of all ages and genders are invited to attend the free workshop to learn basic mechanical skills – how to change a tyre, check oil and water levels and jump start a vehicle – all in a safe and secure environment. The event will run from 6pm to 8pm and takes place in Station Garage’s workshop at their dealership on Billingshurst Road in Broadbridge Heath. The workshop will be led by the company’s friendly and supportive mechanics and provides an ideal opportunity for drivers to truly get to grips on how to look after their car, especially with the winter road conditions that will soon be upon us.
