BBVegan Cafe and catering service, Chichester

BBV offers healthy, plant-based, delicious meals that you can eat in, but they also have a catering service. Worth indulging in is their highly recommended raw dessert patisserie. Not only is the food delicious, they are passionate about veganism and sustainability. The atmosphere is described to be cosy and friendly. And the portions are awesome. This Chichester based restaurant is perfect for taking your non-vegan friends, and showing them how healthy and heavenly plant-based food can be! The food is also cooked in front of you, which always makes us feel happy.

The Green Almond, Eastbourne

The Green Almond is a primarily vegetarian restaurant, but they happily cater for a vegan diet on request. They offer vegan soups and salads alongside their tasty and healthy lunches. They are a family run business with a lovely and friendly atmosphere. We reckon even dedicated carnivores will be happy here. The food is to, er, not die for?!

NRG Cavern serves a variety of well presented, healthy dishes in a friendly and pretty setting. They also provide good prices for amazing meals. They have vegan and gluten free options available to give everyone a good experience. They have a variety of options on the menu, like coffee, salads, brunch, and delicious pastries! Along with a relaxing atmosphere. In a hurry? Not to worry, they serve small bites to eat along with a tasty coffee.

Bebble’s Hungarian Restaurant, Hailsham

For a restaurant with a website and several social media channels where they could show off their food, we struggled to find decent photos of Bebbles’ best dishes, but we really wanted to include these guys. Bebble’s is a family run business that serves Hungarian food that can be catered to vegan and gluten free requests. They have transformed their restaurant to become a langos paradise (langos is a Hungarian kind of fried bread). They work very hard to provide the very best food and service, with a lovely atmosphere. If you have never tried langos, here’s your chance.

Wickham Bistro, Bexhill

Wickham Bistro is a mix of classical, modern and worldly cooking. All dishes are freshly prepared and are at a reasonable price. It’s got a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, run by a highly skilled family who are very welcoming to everyone – including (particularly!) dogs. They can cater for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free eaters, and run some special event nights, including exclusively vegan events.

Remy’s Cafe Kulinarya, St Leonards

This is something really different. Remy’s Cafe Kulinarya is a cafe, restaurant and patisserie that serves traditional English and Filipino fusion food. The service and setting is friendly, along with a beautiful décor. The place is stylish, hip and cosy, and simply perfect for a date, or those with a love of Art Nouveau/Deco. They serve vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options, savoury and sweet. The portions are a perfect size and also at a good price.
