This summer there are dog shows all over Sussex – and here’s your guide!
Here at Title we’re dog crazy, and we know a lot of you are too. If you want to show off your special pup or check out some lovely dogs just for petting and boops, here some unmissable events in Sussex this summer.
Companion Dog Show – Sunday 22 July
This dog show has loads of categories and it’s only £1.50 to enter. K9-RR and GGSDR rescue volunteers run it, you can find out more about what they do at their stands. It’s between 10am and 3pm at the Summerfield Leisure Centre.

“One of Brighton Pride’s most wonderfully accessible events”, this is the best place to show off your four-legged friends. Head down to Preston Park at 11am to enter, the show is 12pm-5pm.

Fun Family Dog Show & Summer Fair – Sunday 5 August
Give a Dog a Home are running their largest ever event, a family dog show and summer fair at the Big Park, Peacehaven. All the money raised is for the Give a Dog a Home charity so it’s a great way to show your love to all doggies. 11am-4pm.

South Street Bonfire Society Fair – Saturday 11 August
Come down to Lewes to enter your dog in the South Street Bonfire Society Fair. Entries from 1pm, show is at 2pm-5pm.

Tommy’s Fund Family Fun Day – Saturday 18 August
Sponsored and organized by Coastway Vets, this is a great place to enter your dog. There are loads of fun categories varying from “cutest puppy” to “dog most like owner,” so there’s something for everyone. The entries are only £1 and there are prizes for winners. Entries are from 10:30am and the show is 11:30am-4pm.

Laughton Dog Show – Saturday 25 August
It’s the Laughton village fete and at the Roebuck inn you can enter your doggie into the Fun Family Dog Show. Entries are from noon and the judging is from 1pm.

Terrier, Lurcher, & Family Dog Show – Saturday 1 September
In addition to this being a dog show, they also have show jumping and pony classes for your pup. There will be a bar, BBQ and even ferret racing, what more could you want. Gates open at 9:45am and judging commences at 12pm.
