If you’re looking for a way to support a local organisation, read on!

Are you a business in Sussex that loves animals!? Looking to support a local charity? Meet the Sussex Wildlife Trust.

Businesses across East and West Sussex can now become a ‘business partner’ to help support the charity’s work in conservation. This is a brand-new scheme – an exciting opportunity which allows for businesses to directly contribute towards the protection and restoration of wildlife.

Why join? It’s more than just a membership

The Trust aims to make long-term partnerships with businesses, no matter their size. The only thing that truly matters is a passion for protecting wildlife.

Head of fundraising Tim Smart says that the Trust likes to understand each businesses’ goals in order to “find the best fit” for their support.  No matter what those charitable targets are, the Trust has a membership and support level that would work for each of them. This can come in many forms such as different membership tiers, or even “a more bespoke membership”!

Tiering system: Choose your level of impact

The Trust’s membership scheme allows any business, big or small, to take part. This tier system is an easy and effective way to get the most out of your membership, whilst supporting the Trust as much as possible.

The membership tiers available are as follows:

  • Bronze membership (£120 per year): An accessible entry point perfect for freelancers and sole traders looking to make a meaningful difference.
  • Silver membership (£500 per year): Ideal for small to medium-sized businesses wanting to deepen their commitment to wildlife conservation.
  • Gold membership (£1000 per year): Designed for larger organisations who want to have the greatest impact they can within the region.

Want even more for your team? Then go gold!

Fancy a trip to the beach for up to 15 members of your team? Or a day out volunteering on one of the Trust’s nature reserves? Then the gold membership is for you.

These sessions allow the Trust to give back to those helping out, by sharing a very hands-on experience. Not only do you get a day out of the office, but you also get to help the environment whilst doing it.

Benefits

No matter your membership tier, all business members will also receive:

  • A membership pack with a certificate and reserves guide.
  • Recognition on the Sussex Wildlife Trust website.
  • Features in, and a copy of, the Wild Sussex magazine (published twice a year).
  • A Wild at Work e-newsletter (provided quarterly) to stay updated on the Trust’s conservation efforts and news.

With all of these great benefits and options to support the Trust in a multitude of different ways, what are you waiting for?
