After a very successful takeover of The Parker Restaurant, Vancouver in January it’s now Terre à Terre‘s turn to play host.

On the 21st of May, during National Vegetarian Week Chef Felix, working with team Terre à Terre, will present his menu accompanied with drinks from Blackdown Artisan Spirits, Organic Wines from Vineyard, Summerhill Pyramid Winery, BC and Davenport Vineyard Sussex.

This event merges two fantastic international restaurants with a menu that combines two food cultures.

Chef Matty Bowling of Terre à Terre prepared a vegetarian feast for his kitchen take over at The Parker in Vancouver on Sunday 18 January 2015, as part of the Dine Out Vancouver festival and sponsored by Travelbag and Tourism Vancouver.

His audience, a combination of press, producers and paying guests thoroughly enjoyed the menu and the taste of Sussex that he managed to deliver.

Alongside the meal Matty cooked a Terre à Terre signature live on CTV morning show and in a food truck during Dine Out ‘Street Food City’ event where 25 food trucks gather on a central plaza in downtown Vancouver for a week.

Chef Felix will be in Brighton and London for not only National Vegetarian Week but also Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Spring Harvest Festival where alongside the event he will enjoy a gourmet food tour of Sussex and visit all the sites of Brighton.

International Chef Exchange is an initiative created by the Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival that sees leading chefs from London and the south east of the UK partner with colleagues abroad.

The objectives are to share best practice, showcase quality food and drink produce to potential export markets, and to promote the gastronomic tourism offering of reciprocal regions.
