“A little piece of the Mississippi Delta on the Chichester Plain”

Blues On The Farm - 18th - 21st June - where music fans descend on a cider farm for an acclaimed weekend of top-class musicianship

Voted ‘Best British Blues Festival’ in the 2010 British Blues Awards, the event is staged in a beautiful 40 acre setting on the Sussex Coastal plain, a couple of miles south of Chichester and has a huge reputation for presenting high quality music from world-class musicians, in a family-friendly, safe and relaxed environment.

Blues On The Farm presents a broad showcase of talent, with a blend of traditional and ‘modern’ blues, plus related genres, not least soul, rock, roots and more from both sides of the Atlantic.

Blues On The FarmThe common factor is quality and entertainment of the highest level. The Blues came from spirituals and slave plantations and has crossed gender, class, race, oceans and countries. Enjoyed in juke joints, cellar bars and concert halls… and now in the fields of a cider farm.

Blues On The Farm attracts an audience from far and wide for its excellent line up but also for its special countryside location, a handful of miles from both the seafront in one direction and the beautiful Sussex town of Chichester in the other; in addition to the on site facilities for campers and more.

It all takes place in a relaxed, hospitable, atmosphere with incredible local food, an enormous range of delicious local beers, interesting, varied trade stalls and much more, all in the sunshine month of June, on a farm, with like-minded people.
