Sussex based print, design and marketing specialist Evonprint has extended the deadline for this quarter’s Sussex Service Stars award until Sunday 1st November to offer local residents a chance to nominate those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty within the service industry.
The Sussex Service Stars, initially launched in May, aims to reward unparalleled customer service by calling out to local residents to nominate those who they feel deserved the recognition, like first winner, Store Manager of Pets Corner Shoreham, Sophie Cook.
Sophie was nominated after she used her expertise and knowledge to relieve Tessy the King Charles spaniel’s pain and help save his life by changing his food
After finding out that she had won, Sophie said, “No one does what they do to receive recognition. I enjoy going to work every day and when I can help animals it’s a bonus. It was fantastic I could help Tessy, and finding out that I had won an award for it was the icing on the cake.”
Every quarter, the nominee with the best customer service story will be presented with a hamper of prizes worth over £75, whilst the nominator will receive a £20 Love to Shop Voucher. They can be, for example, a server in a restaurant, a shop assistant who has gone out of their way to help or a local taxi driver that has gone that extra mile (so to speak) – Evonprint wants to hear about them.

Nominations should include the name of the nominee, where they work and a brief explanation of why they deserve to win. Contact details for the nominee’s place of work are preferable but not compulsory, however nominator details must be included.
