Giles Paley-Phillips teams up with Title

Author of ‘The Fearsome Beastie’ to review children’s books each month

We’re thrilled to announce the addition of bestselling children’s author Giles Paley-Phillips to the team here at Title.

The award winning author of children’s favourites such as The Fearsome Beastie, Little Bell and the Moon and There’s a Lion in my Bathroom will be reviewing a selection of children’s books each month in the magazine.

The reviewed copies, and those not reviewed, will all be sent to the charity bookshop for Family Support Work (01273 832963, www.familysupportwork.org), the charity Giles supports.

Giles was born in East Sussex and grew up on the south coast. Despite a neglected education in pursuit of a career in music, his book ‘The Fearsome Beastie’ won The People’s Book Prize 2012, The Heart Of Hawick Children’s Book Award 2013, the Bizziebaby Gold Award and was Highly Commended in The Forward National Literature Award in the US.

The Summer of 2016 will see the release of a CG animated short film of ‘The Fearsome Beastie’ produced by Slurpy Studios in collaboration with UCA and directed by Katie Steed and Jon Hunt and starring Brian Blessed and Alison Steadman.

Giles has released many other children’s books to great acclaim since and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on board.
