Sponsors sought for 2015 BAHBAs

Local awards scheme honours city’s business talent

The search is on for supporters of the 2015 Brighton and Hove Business Awards.

This year’s event will mark the tenth anniversary of its founding and is set to be an awards extravaganza with the city’s biggest and best businesses all eagerly awaiting their results.

Designed to raise awareness and celebrate the uniqueness of our great city, this annual event acknowledges and celebrates those organisations, companies and individuals who really build the Brighton brand.

Former award winners, Duke of Yorks, are just one group of attendees to have experienced the benefits of being attached to such an event.

They said: “Winning a BAHBA was such a great feeling for everyone who works at Dukes. It felt like a real validation of the great service we strive to offer to our customers every day. It was also a great chance to meet other businesses in Brighton and it really put us on the map.”

Last year’s winners included Tony Mernagh, who was named Outstanding Brightonian. Over the years, Tony has held many senior positions across the city yet has still found time to chair the BAHBAs every year since their inception.

The event sees the best of Brighton’s businesses go head to head for the coveted awards and following their win last year, The Treatment Rooms founder and director, Clare Rogers, explains why it means so much.[/three_fourth_last]”We were absolutely chuffed to bits to be a winner,” explained Clare. “Each year gets tougher with such strong competition. It was a real boost to myself and the team to have our hard work recognised.”

The awards are scheduled to launch at the end of April with the ceremony set for early summer and, if you are interested in sponsoring, please contact the organisers on 01273 666200 or email bahba@midnight.co.uk.
