Haskins Reindeers to win with Sussex Heart Charity on Title Sussex Magazine

Haskins Garden Centres has teamed up with Sussex Heart Charity to make a few dreams come true and donated these gorgeous fluffy reindeer for 25 lucky Title Sussex readers to win.

If you haven’t heard of The Sussex Heart Charity already, these guys are an amazing county-wide charity working to support cardiac care across Sussex, and particularly in the community. The charity provides equipment, research and training, and has installed over 150 defibrillators/heart re-starters across the region over the past 30 years.

If you or anyone you know has been a heart patient in Sussex, then The Sussex Heart Charity will have probably assisted in the patient care

A lot of the equipment and training is provided by the charity for medical staff based at the Regional Cardiac Centre in the Brighton (County) Hospital. If you or anyone you know has been a heart patient in Sussex, then The Sussex Heart Charity will have probably assisted in the patient care. The charity is responsible for directly funding additional staff training, equipment or pre/post treatment – and in supporting the family and patients by means of counselling services and rehabilitation exercise classes.

Amongst some of the amazing things they’ve done, the charity has just installed defibrillators in partnership with Southern Rail – at Sussex train stations (£100,000+). So if the stress of taking the train proves too much, at least you know help is on hand!

Haskins, charity partner to SHC, have seen how dedicated the charity is to keeping Sussex hearts healthy and ticking, and has donated 25 of these gorgeous reindeer to help them raise awareness of the work they do.

We all know the names of Santa’s reindeer, don’t we? Rudolph, of course, and Prancer and Dancer and all the rest of the gang (no we can’t remember them all either), but what we’d like to know, is what you’d call your OWN reindeer if you are lucky enough to win one!

So all you have to do is email with MY OWN PERSONAL REINDEER in the subject line and tell us what you’d call your gorgeous fluffy friend. Please include your name and address and if relevant, details of who the reindeer is for (it might be a gift, we don’t want to blow any surprises).

Competition is open until midnight on 8 December 2017. We’ll pick our favourite names and advise winners by email.

Sussex Heart Charity is the largest cardiac care charity in the county of Sussex, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. It relies heavily on the support of volunteers and can always do with support. For more information about the charity, please visit the website

Big thanks to Haskins for supporting the charity and donating these gorgeous beasts. Haskins Garden Centres are based across Sussex and Dorset and you can find them at Haskins Garden Centres
