We’ve teamed up with food event platform Tabl to bring you four of our favourite foodie events coming up in Sussex over the next month.
Top chef Ellie Ledden’s Forgotten Cuts – £36
A beautiful and intimate setting in Southwick where host Ellie Ledden of Forgotten Cuts will take you through a feast of sharing plates and stews. Ellie uses local produce and local flavours to present her nose to tail menu. You will be welcomed with a Brighton Gin cocktail but do BYO alcohol and soft drinks. This is a meat lover’s night to remember and £1 from every ticket goes to homeless charity Antifreeze – Off the fence.
When: Sat 20 Feb, 7pm
A Venetian Banquet – £35
Repast Supper Clubs combine a passion for cooking and a fascination with history. Each event has a historical theme and rather than reproducing food from our past, highlighting a historical tradition, event, historical character, chef or food writer. This event is inspired by the fourteenth century Libro Per Cuoco (Book for Cook) by the anonymous ‘Venetian’.
When: Fri 26 Feb, 7pm
Where: Haywards Heath
An evening with Issy Suttie aka Dobby from Peep Show – £35
A gorgeous seasonal tapas style supper with three best-selling authors. Issy Suttie (aka Dobby from Peep Show) with her fab new book, Jem Lester and Adam Baron join in for a comedy special. Held in the fabulous Naked Eye Gallery on Farm Mews Hove, you don’t have to have read the books, but do come with an appetite for one of the best veggie delights in Brighton.
