Say cheese

We’re probably getting a bit ahead of ourselves here but when Paxton & Whitfield contacted us to tell us about their hampers we thought immediately of Christmas.

Who wouldn’t want a basket full of yummy foodie goodies delivered straight to their door?! Anyway, they very thoughtfully sent us a hamper called the New Brits to check out, packed with all British cheeses.

We love this collection, particularly as there’s a Sussex cheese included – the Mayfield Swiss, which reminded us of Emmental with the holes and the smoky thing going on. But this is a very staunch range of cheeses. The washed rind is quiet something.

There’s more to P&W than cheese though, so if you’re racking your brains about what to get aunts/uncles/people who live far away/yourself – we think this is a very good plan…
