Think you have what it takes to be a prize-winning photographer? Southern Transit is launching their very own competition, and it’s the perfect opportunity to find out…
We all know that Sussex is the best-looking county, with urban and rural scenery that has captured the eye of artists for centuries. There’s plenty to get inspired by: rolling hills illuminated by beautiful sunsets, historic castles with carefully manicured gardens, quaint backstreets with endless charm, and so much more.
To celebrate the county’s beauty Southern Transit have announced their ‘Splendid Summer in Sussex’ photography competition. It’s the perfect opportunity to prove your photographic chops, and show some love for our beloved county.
The premise is simple: take a photograph of your favourite place in Sussex — one which captures it in all its splendour. There’s plenty of places to choose from, and then it’s up to you to get the perfect shot.
You’ve got until Friday 7th October to submit your entry, so there’s plenty of time to get it just right. Entries will then be uploaded to Southern Transit’s Facebook page, where a favourite will be chosen by vote.
Sue Rose, Operations Director at Southern Transit, described the competition as ‘a great way to bring the Sussex community together to be proud of their county’ — and we can’t help but agree.
So why not give it a shot (pun intended!), and see if you have what it takes to be a prize-winning photographer? Not only that, you’ll be celebrating this wonderful county while you’re at it.
To enter, email your submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org, confirming the location, along with your name, age and contact details.
