Title caught up with Colette O’Leary of Bluebell Vineyards to find out what makes them the perfect choice for a wedding.
TELL US A BIT ABOUT THE VENUE
“Bluebell Vineyard is such a beautiful estate with so many unique characteristics, and I truly believe it’s a great setting for every kind of wedding. We are a working vineyard and one of England’s leading producers of sparkling wines, so being able to toast the occasion with the wine produced on the estate makes for a truly personal experience. We can sit down and do a tasting with the brides and grooms, and they are able to choose the wine they want on their special day.”
A PERFECT SPOT THEN?
We host less than 10 weddings a year so we’re quite exclusive, and being able a marquee venue means that couples have the flexibility to bring their vision to life. It’s the perfect choice for those who want a beautiful outdoor venue set in the heart of Sussex, together with the uniqueness of toasting with wines produced from the vines surrounding them. The vineyard provides the backdrop for many beautiful photographs, with the vines, ponds and bluebell woodlands.”
Bluebell Vineyard Estates is nestled in the hamlet of Furners Green, near the famous Bluebell Railway and historic Sheffield Park. The multi-award winning vineyard and winery specialises in English sparkling wines, using the classic champagne grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, as well as Seyval Blanc.
Bluebell’s sparkling wines are hand-crafted using the méthode traditionelle. With a focus on quality, the estate has achieved over 40 national and international awards since their first release in 2007.
