Without further ado, here are the results…
1. XOXO
XOXO has secured the top spot as Brighton’s number one bottomless brunch spot. The popular restaurant chain scored a total of 62.96/110, with high scores for their availability, proximity to the university campus, food menu size, and vegan options. Situated across two floors, and outdoor seating, XOXO is a perfect spot for bottomless brunch lovers. Brunch costs £29.95 for any dish from the lunch or brunch menu and bottomless beer, cider progaritas, or frosé for two hours.
2. Six
In second place is Six, with a total score of 56.33/110. Serving bottomless brunch Friday – Sunday, this restaurant offers a contemporary approach to cuisine and is not one to be missed. Add £22 onto any breakfast-bunch dish and enjoy one and a half hours of bottomless prosecco. Or enjoy the complimentary options of mimosas or prosecco and crème de cassis.
3. Café Malbec
Café Malbec was ranked in third place for Brighton’s top brunch spots with a score of 53.19/110. The popular Argentinian wine bar offers a different take to bottomless brunch. Add on £19 to any brunch dish to enjoy one and a half hours of bottomless Argie or rosé Malbec sparkling.
4. Redroaster
Redroaster scored 46.90/110, a great score for this independent café. You can reserve brunch every day from 10am. A beautiful, modern brunching spot for a £34.95 bottomless brunch with an hour and a half of bottomless mimosas and spritz of your choice. Or, upgrade to prosecco, rosé, or Aperol spritz for £5 or add any pudding for a fiver too.
5. Patterns
Patterns’ weekly bottomless ‘ultimate daytime sessions’ takes place every Saturday daytime from 11:30 and has reached an impressive 41.05/110. If you fancy a much livelier brunch, then Patterns has got you sorted. Along with bottomless prosecco, mimosas, beer, cider, or Bloody Marys for two hours, the resident DJ will be playing the best of garage to accompany your brunch sesh. Foodwise, they only offer pizza… but who’s at a bottomless brunch for the food anyway?
6. Block Bar
Block Bar comes in at sixth, with a respectable score of 40.18/110. The modern restaurant in St James’s Street has a slightly shorter menu, but still offers lots of tasty options. Bottomless brunches are on Saturdays 10am-2:30pm. Add £17.50 to any brunch item to enjoy one and a half hours of bottomless prosecco or Bloody Marys.
7. Socialite
Socialite is located in the lanes, and consists of a contemporary look and stylish outdoor seating. Enjoy a bottomless weekend brunch for £35 and get unlimited prosecco for an hour and a half with any brunch main.
8. The Mesmerist
The Mesmerist pub is ‘fun, funky, retro, and quirky’ and scored a worthy 35.07/110. Taste the flavours of the south for brunch in the big, beautiful venue with individually styled rooms, a roof garden, and a 70s cocktail bar. Every Saturday for just £23 you can enjoy unlimited mimosas or Bloody Marys along with a choice of a brunch dish for two hours.
9. Libation
Last but not least, Libation in Hove scored an honourable 31.04/110. Their ever-changing menu and beautiful bar is accompanied by an outdoor terrace, which will be perfect in the upcoming warmer temperatures. On Saturdays, you can add £19 to your brunch dish to enjoy bottomless prosecco or bottled beer for one and a half hours.
Vegan and vegetarian options
As well as average score for all 10 factors, each restaurant had their menus reviewed based on what percentage of their dishes were vegetarian or vegan.
